Smyth Automotive Parts Plus has opened its fifth warehouse distribution center in Hilliard, a suburb of Columbus, Ohio, on March 2, 2015.

The Hilliard location is Smyth Automotive’s 23rd location in Ohio.

“The aftermarket industry in Columbus has welcomed us with open arms,” says Jim Smyth, CEO. “We have a very strong presence in Cincinnati and plan to make the same impact in Columbus, and with the way our business is growing here, we will be opening more stores in no time.”

Smyth Automotive Parts Plus now operates four warehouses and one retail location in the Columbus area. Smyth serves the areas of Westerville, Newark, Reynoldsburg, Downtown and now Hilliard. Smyth also has 17 other retail and warehouse locations through Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Smyth Automotive Parts Plus has been family-owned and operated since 1963. The company has over 400 employees, 250-plus vehicles, and more than 100,000 square feet of warehouse inventory.

“I have been working for Smyth Automotive since November of 2014 and have enjoyed being a part of such a great and influential company,” says Cane Poston, manager of Smyth’s Columbus warehouse. “The new warehouse will definitely create more opportunities for growth in the central Ohio region.”

The Columbus warehouse is located at 4093 Leap Road. For more information, contact the warehouse at (614) 771-0085.
