No A/C with Remote Start

This bulletin applies to 2012-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with air conditioning ATC with dual zone control or ATC with three-zone temperature control, built between Jan. 16, 2012, and Aug. 8, 2012.

Customers may indicate that the A/C will not work when the engine is started using their remote start feature.

Using a scan tool (wiTECH), verify that all other A/C functions operate as designed. If DTCs are present, record and repair before proceeding further.

Using the wiTECH diagnostic application for flashing an ATC is made available through the wiTECH diagnostic application.

Clear any DTCs that may have been set in other modules as a result of the reprogramming.

Cycle the ignition switch.
