Dodge Charger’s Line Lock Feature Fails

This bulletin applies to 2019 Dodge Chargers built on or after Aug. 28, 2018, and before Sept. 5, 2018, and equipped with a 6.4L V8 SRT Hemi MDS engine and Line Lock Launch Control, where the Line Lock feature does not work.

Customers may comment that they are not able to access the Line Lock feature on the SRT Drive Modes page on their radio screen.

Install a battery charger to keep voltage between 13.2 and 13.5 volts. Using wiTECH 2, under the “Activities Menu,” go to “Guided Diagnostics” and perform “Restore Vehicle Configuration.” Clear any DTCs that may have set and verify that the Line Lock option is available.
