Lincoln MKZ Vehicles Recalled Due to Bad Weld

Certain 2017 Lincoln MKZ vehicles have been recalled.

On vehicles equipped with a 2.0L gas engine and six-speed automatic transmission, the torque converter weld studs may have been inadequately  welded.

If the weld studs fail, the torque converter will not be connected to the engine flexplate and the vehicle will lose the ability to move.
