Certain 2015-2019 Mercedes Benz models are under recall due to a potential problem with steering rack locknuts.

Mercedez Benz has recalled certain 2015-2019 models, including the C63S AMG, the C300, the C350E, the E300, the E400, the CLS450 and the E450.

A locknut in the steering rack may break under high load, possibly causing the steering to become stuck in one position.

Specific models include the 2015 C300 and C63S AMG, the 2016 C300, the 2017 C300 and C63S AMG, plus the 2018 C300, C350E, C63 AMG, C63S AMG, E300 and E400.

In addition, 2019 editions of the C300, C350E, C63 AMG, CLS450 and E450 are also under recall.
