KYB says its new app provides information that customers can easily understand.

KYB's new Road Testing app helps auto service professionals determine if shocks should be replaced and provides easy-to-understand information to facilitate conversations with consumers.

"Available for free on Apple and Android devices, the KYB Road Testing app has already been downloaded and used by thousands of professional service providers," say KYB officials.

"Recommending shocks and struts without evidence simply isn’t effective. The KYB Road Testing app enables service writers to present the customer with a vehicle condition report. This helps the motorist make more informed decisions about maintaining their vehicle. The app explains how to perform a road test and displays the results in a way that the motorist can easily understand."

KYB officials call shocks and struts "an undersold category because technicians lack a good way to rate wear, and service writers don’t have enough information or facts to recommend the sale with confidence. The app addresses those issues and can even send vehicle condition reports directly to the customer’s phone or email address."
