Disconnect and remove the air line tube.

Some 2014-2018 Toyota Corolla vehicles equipped with a 2ZR-FE or 2ZR-FAE engine may exhibit a MIL on with DTC P2420 (evaporative emission pressure switching valve stuck off). If this is confirmed, replace the charcoal canister assembly.

Install the new filter and sub-assembly. Disconnect and remove the air line tube. Remove the retaining bolt from the charcoal canister assembly.

Install the new filter sub-assembly by sliding the metal bracket between the charcoal canister assembly and the vehicle frame. Reinstall the retaining bolt and torque to 14 ft.-lbs.

Install the new clamp P/N 90463-13003 or equivalent 7.5-inch nylon cable tie. Clear all DTCs and run the EVAP system check utility and test drive to confirm that no DTCs are present.
