Pinnacle Names Tarnacki VP of Brand Development

Brian Tarnacki "brings a wealth of relevant experience" to Pinnacle Media, says Drew Shippy, the agency's president.

Brand strategy veteran Brian Tarnacki has joined Pinnacle Media as its vice president of brand development. Pinnacle is a full-service marketing communications agency that serves clients in the transportation market.

Tarnacki has more than 30 years of experience as a brand strategist with vehicle parts suppliers and leading advertising agencies. He will assist Pinnacle's clients in optimizing their brands through strategic initiatives such as market research, competitive analysis, customer analysis, brand positioning and developing and implementing marketing programs.

Tarnacki was founder and chief strategist of Motor City Brand, a marketing consulting firm. Prior to launching his company, he managed brands for nearly 20 years with Federal-Mogul Motorparts (DRiV).

Tarnacki also managed brands with Tenneco and was a partner with J. Walter Thompson Advertising Worldwide. 

“Our team has worked closely with Brian for more than 20 years, both through our agency relationships with Federal-Mogul and Tenneco and, later, as he built Motor City Brand,” says Pinnacle President Drew Shippy.

“He brings us a wealth of relevant experience."
