SKF changes name to SKF Vehicle Aftermarket

SKF will now refer to its global transportation business unit as SKF Vehicle Aftermarket. The business unit – formally known as SKF Vehicle Service Market – will continue to offer premium wheel end components and other related parts and services to aftermarket distributors, installers and end-user customers.

As manufacturers and suppliers of premium components for various areas of the global transportation segment, we felt it would better serve our customers to refer to the business unit as ‘Vehicle Aftermarket’ to more clearly define our breadth of offering,” said Norbert Neumann, Director Automotive, SKF Vehicle Aftermarket. “Every product and service we provide is engineered to contribute to a better world – from more fuel-efficient vehicles, to safer vehicles, to better performing vehicles. SKF Vehicle Aftermarket will continue with its mission of providing premium components for the evolving needs of the vehicle aftermarket, as well as working to continuously enhance the customer experience.”

To reflect the new name, SKF has updated its website domain to www.vehicleaftermarket.skf.com. The website provides details about the complete SKF Vehicle Aftermarket offering, as well as technical insights, training and installation information, videos, and more. The old URL, www.vsm.skf.com, will re-direct to the new one for the foreseeable future.
