This bulletin applies to 2014-2017 Porsche Cayenne S and GTS 3.6L V6 vehicles. If the engine will not start at times, and the fault code P0607 (control unit faulty) is stored in the fault memory, note that the DME control unit can become damaged via the electric wires as a result of electrostatic discharge of the throttle housing. An optimized throttle housing with insulation is now available. For vehicles produced before August 24, 2016, the DME control unit and the throttle housing must be replaced in the event of a complaint.
