Look for signs of physical damage in the location noted here.

Some 2010-2014 Toyota Prius and 2012-2014 Prius V vehicles may exhibit a malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) on with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0A94, P324E, P0A1A or P3004, indicating a malfunction has occurred in the hybrid inverter assembly.  CAUTION: Always wear electrical insulating gloves when handling hybrid electrical components (LTLE011Y10PK size 10; LTLE011Y11PK size 11; LTLE011Y12PK size 12).

If the inverter shows signs of physical damage, replace the inverter assembly with a converter. Determine the correct components to replace based on the inverter type, DTC and information code (refer to service manual).
