Turbocharger Issue for Ford

Note screw location on 1.6L engine. The 2.0L engine screw is located at the opposite end of the sensor.
Some 2013-2014 Ford Escape and Fusion vehicles equipped with a 1.6L or 2.0L gasoline turbocharged direct injection (GTDI) engine may exhibit difficulty to start, runs rough at start-up, crank no start, lack of power, loss of RPM or hesitation concerns, with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P007B or P0236 and P06A7 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM).
Replace the TCBP/CACT/MAPT sensor and fastener. Torque the fastener to 36.3 in-lb, +/- 6.2 in-lb. Other DTCs may also be present that share the VREF circuit.
New sensors are available as P/N EL8Z-9F479-A. Escape vehicles require screw W716594-S450B. Fusion requires screw W506974-S450B.
