A customer may note that an “air suspension cooling down – please wait” message appears very frequently when no air suspension up/down requests are being made. The “Raising” icon in the electronic vehicle information center is falsely flashing for extended periods of time.

Using a scan tool, verify that no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are set. If DTCs are found, record and repair as needed before proceeding. Reprogram the Active Safety Control Module (ASCM) with the latest software using release 14.01 or higher.
