Certain 2016 Subaru Legacy vehicles have a risk of the drift shaft separating from the rear differential. The culprit: loose nuts.

Subaru notes that certain 2016 Legacy vehicles manufactured between Oct. 24, 2015, and Nov. 16, 2015, have a risk of the drift shaft separating from the rear differential.

Subaru says it's possible the securing nuts weren't tightened properly.
