This bulletin applies to 2014-2016 Toyota Highlander hybrid vehicles. A MIL may be on, accompanied by DTC P314A and/or P0C73 with evidence of water (corrosion) at the A9 inverter water pump connector.

Corrosion and water in the A43 ECM connector of Toyota Highlanders or the A9 inverter water pump connector on Hybrid models is due to poorly sealed or damaged aftermarket windshield deicer harnesses.

Some 2008-2013 Toyota Highlander and Highlander HV vehicles may exhibit a clunk-, pop- or knock-type noise when turning the steering wheel left or right.

Some owners of 2020 Toyota Highlander, Tacoma, 4Runner, Camry, RAV4 HV, Camry HV, Highlander HV, Tundra, RAV4, Corolla hatchback and Sequoia vehicles may experience the inability to activate Remote Connect or Remote Connect becoming inoperative when attempting to send commands to the vehicle.
