Guardair Corp. has named Scott Burkins its new senior director of operations and Thomas Ferraro its new marketing manager.

Burkins Scott brings 35 years of experience in the industrial MRO (maintenance, repair and operating) space to Guadair. Most recently, he was the director of operations and engineering for lenox, stanley black & decker in East Longmeadow, Mass.

In his new role, Scott will oversee all manufacturing operations. His focus is optimizing production through strategic planning, continuous process improvement, high quality control and safety procedures.

“Scott’s track record of advancing operational capabilities by bolstering productivity and implementing quality control will help meet the growing needs of our customers,” states Tom Tremblay, Guadair president.

Guardair has also promoted Thomas Ferraro to marketing manager.

In his new role, Thomas will develop and manage strategic marketing programs and optimize omnichannel opportunities in parallel with continuous company growth.

“His contributions have helped expand our web presence and web sales,” says Tremblay, President of Guardair Corporation. “We look forward to the role the Marketing Department will play in our future success as Thomas continues to apply his digital expertise and provides leadership to our marketing team.”
