On some Ram trucks built on or before Nov. 20, 2012, customers might hear a chirping noise from the belt in the engine compartment. Remove the serpentine belt and operate the engine with the belt removed for no more than 15 seconds. If the noise was eliminated, visually inspect all accessory drive pulleys for damage/debris/corrosion. Replace as needed. Install the revised serpentine belt P/N 68204819AA, which is able to compensate for slight pulley misalignment. Verify that the noise has been eliminated.
