Pop goes the Lexus

Some 2011-2012 Lexus LS 460 AWD vehicles may exhibit a front suspension noise described as a “spring pop” while driving slowly and turning to the left or right full-lock position.

New front left and right side coil spring assemblies are now available to address this condition.

This repair is covered under the Lexus Basic Warranty, in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

1. Confirm that the condition is present.
2. Remove and replace the front coil spring assemblies. Refer to the applicable model and model year repair manual.
