Owners of 2014 Dodge Durango vehicles may complain that the power door mirrors won’t tilt enough when the transmission is placed in reverse.
Apparently, the fix merely requires a software update. Using a scan tool (wiTECH) with diagnostic procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify that no DTCs are present. Record and repair as necessary before reprogramming.
Install a battery charger to ensure that battery voltage does not drop below 13.2 volts or above 13.5 volts during the flash. Reprogram the door module (DMFL/DMFR) with software release 14.01 or higher.
After reprogramming, perform the window relearn procedure. Clear any DTCs that may have set in other modules.
