Mazda cautions against attempting repairs to windshields that are equipped with forward sensing cameras and lasers.
Do not attempt any repair of the windshield damaged by stone chipping/cracks at the area in front of the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) and Laser sensor. If the windshield is repaired in this area, it may affect the performance of the camera and/or laser.
This may cause incorrect detection of objects and improper operation of the i-ACTIVEESENSE systems.
