FCA US has announced a recall for certain electric power steering (EPS) gears intended for use on Ram 1500 pickup trucks.
Some EPS gear assemblies may have been built with a contaminated circuit board assembly that may short circuit.
A short in the control circuit components may result in an intermittent loss of power steering assist.
