Some 2019-2020 Lincoln Nautilus or 2020 Corsair vehicles equipped with an 8F35 transmission may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTC P0766 stored in the PCM and/or intermittent no-reverse engagement concerns. This may be due to contamination in the main control valve body separator plate orifice. To correct the condition, clean the main control plate.
Remove the main control valve body. Remove the main control separator plate. Clean and remove any debris from the separator plate orifice. Reinstall the plate and main control valve body. Refer to workshop manual section 307-01.
