This bulletin applies to 2011-2012 Jeep Durango and Grand Cherokee vehicles. A clunk and/or bump may be felt through the steering wheel under moderate braking and/or driving over rough roads.
The culprit may be spline stick/slip from the intermediate shaft. If this is the case, replace with a new intermediate shaft, P/N 05057539AD. Note: The new shaft must have a green dot on the rear area or on the label. If a green dot is not evident, re-order the shaft.
