Some owners of 2017-2018 GMC Canyon vehicles may comment on an illuminated MIL. Technicians may find DTC P0171 and/or P0174 set. If you encounter this concern, check for a vacuum leak at the PCV fresh air tube or the foul PCV tube attachment under the air cleaner outlet duct or at the intake manifold.
Check to verify that the tube is connected to the air cleaner duct port. If the tube is secure, remove the engine rear noise shield and inspect the PCV foul air tube connection on the rear side of the intake manifold vacuum port.
