Auto Plus Virtual Event Connected Customers with Suppliers

Auto Plus recently welcomed nearly 450 customers to its first-ever virtual customer event, which connected clients to Auto Plus' leadership team and more than 40 manufacturer partners.

“We were thrilled to host this event and share our focus on growing our premium brand-name product offering and programs to help independent Auto Plus customers succeed,” says Chris Cox, president and CEO, Auto Plus. 

The event kicked off with a keynote presentation, “Auto Plus Business Overview and Aftermarket Automotive Industry Trends,” by Cox and Mike Buzzard, Auto Plus vice president, commercial marketing and independent sales.

“Our goal was to create an industry-leading event to prepare our jobber customers for the summer selling season and beyond and equip them with new product and promotional opportunities to drive their business,” says Buzzard.

Additional presentations by the Auto Plus leadership team focused on the company’s refreshed branding, new vision, mission and values and the introduction of its customer promise, "all to help rally team members to continue to deliver superior customer service," say Auto Plus officials. 

"Also highlighted were the company’s product updates and supply chain optimization initiative, which is enhancing parts delivery accuracy and efficiency in core commercial markets."

Training sessions were hosted daily by Auto Plus and presenting sponsors, including DRiV (Garage Gurus, Monroe, MOOG, Wagner, Walker, Fel-Pro and Champion), Gates, Standard Motor Products, BBB Industries, Dorman, WIX Filters and Delphi Technologies.

The event included a daily virtual trade show experience, "through which jobber customers interacted with top- tier manufacturers to share company updates, product information and promotional offers."
