Jeep Gladiator Fuel Gauge May be Stuck

This bulletin applies to 2020 Jeep Gladiator vehicles, involving diagnosis and possible replacement of the fuel tank and O-ring due to a P0461 DTC. 

This applies to vehicles built on or after April 12, 2019, and on or before May 16, 2019, and equipped with a 3.6L V6 24V VVT engine. 

Customers may experience a MIL on. Technicians may find the DTC P0461 (fuel level sensor 1 performance) set. In addition, the fuel gauge may not be accurate and/or the fuel gauge may be stuck. 

Replace the fuel tank. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service Library under Service info 14 – Fuel System/Fuel Delivery, Gas Tank, Fuel/removal and Installation. Replacement fuel tanks are available as P/N 68332305AC. The O-ring is under P/N 55366298AA.
