Some Lincoln vehicles (2017-2018 Continental, 2016-2018 MKX and 2017-2018 MKZ) equipped with a 2.7L or 3.0L EcoBoost engine may exhibit an oil leak from the oil pan RTV seal.
Replace the pan following the workshop manual section 303-01. After removing the pan allow the crankcase to drain overnight to minimize the chance of residual oil contaminating the sealing rail.
Remove all traces of RTC and clean the sealing surfaces using Motorcraft Metal Brake Parts Cleaner, then wipe with Motorcraft Metal Surface Cleaning and Preparation wipes and allow to dry.
Apply new RTV and allow the RTV to cure for four hours before refilling the engine oil.
