Some 2013-2018 Ford Escape vehicles may exhibit a fuel slosh noise during low-speed parking lot maneuvers and/or when coming to a stop.

The concern may be more noticeable when the fuel level in the tank is three-quarters to full. According to the TSB, the fix involves replacing the fuel tank straps and fasteners. It is not necessary to depressurize the fuel system. Drain the fuel tank, disconnect the fuel lines and remove the fuel tank in order to replace the straps. Install new straps, isolator assemblies and fasteners, and then reinstall the tank.
