If you are dealing with a 2015 Jaguar XF equipped with a 2.0L gasoline turbocharged direct injection engine that exhibits a no-crank/no start condition and the waring light is displayed, you may find DTC U0100-00 logged in various control modules. There also may be no communication with the PCM, preventing you from clearing the DTC. This may result in the replacement of the PCM due to an internal failure.

Check and confirm that the manufacturing date of the new PCM is after January 15, 2015. Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved Midtronics battery power supply to the vehicle battery. Turn the ignition on but do not start the engine. Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic tool to the vehicle and begin a new session. Follow the on-screen prompts, allowing the tool to read the VIN and identify the vehicle and initiating the data collect sequence. Select the “Recommendations” tab and then select “Run” to perform the “Configure new module – Powertrain control module” option. Follow all on-screen prompts to complete the task, ensuring that all DTCs are cleared. Exit the session and disconnect the diagnostic tool and battery power supply.
