Hunter Engineering Co. has integrated its automated inspection systems with the Xtime Engage and Inspect products made by Cox Automotive Inc.
With the integration, Hunter inspection readings — captured as the customer pulls their vehicle into the service drive — are instantly delivered to the Xtime Intelligent Diagnostic platform. Service advisors can then greet customers and present them with the alignment and tire tread inspection results promptly, giving the consumer the option to ask that any needed tire and alignment services be added to their ticket.
The Hunter alignment and tire tread inspection results are also automatically integrated with Xtime Inspect for technician efficiency by automatically populating the tire tread depth measurements in the inspection form. Customers can even approve alignment and tire service recommendations directly from their personal device such as a mobile phone.
