The Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) has released the following court bulletin from the Ontario Ministry of Labour announcing a recent ruling against a car dealership due to the failure of an automotive lift (also know as hoist). Two workers were critically injured when the lift they were using failed, and the vehicle they were working on fell to the ground.
