This bulletin applies to 2009-2017 Chevy Equinox, Impala, Malibu and Traverse vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission. The MIL may be on and DTC P182E may be set as active or history in the transmission control module. The customer may also note that there is no PRNDL display.
This bulletin applies to 2013 – 2019 Chevy Malibu vehicles equipped with a 2.5L or 2.0L engine. The same engines are available in a number of GM vehicles including Buick Envision and Regal, Cadillac CTS, ATS and CT6, Chevy Camaro, Equinox, Impala and Traverse and GMC Acadia, Canyon and Terrain.
This bulletin applies to 2009-2013 Chevy Traverse vehicles. The fuel gauge may not go to the empty mark and the engine runs out of fuel. You may also hear a fuel slosh or noise from the fuel tank area when braking or accelerating from a stop.
Some owners of a 2001 Chevy Traverse may request the installation of a Tow/Haul Switch on a vehicle that was not built with a Trailer Provision.

Some owners of 2009-2011 Chevy Traverse vehicles (as well as 2008-2011 Buick Enclave, 2007-2011 GMC Acadia and 2007-2010 Saturn OUTLOOK) may complain about an intermittent no-crank/no-start, liftgate inoperative and/or warning lights on.
