2019 Ford Edge and Nautilus vehicles equipped with AWD and built from Jan. 22, 2019, through March 3, 2019, may exhibit a noise from the rear of the vehicle when a door is opened or after KOEO/KOER.
Ford has recalled certain 2018 Edge, 2018 Lincoln MKX and 2019 Flex and Lincoln MKT vehicles.
Some 2011 Ford Edge vehicles equipped with the front control interface module (FCIM) 4.2 inch display screen may exhibit the climate control system coming on at engine startup, even though the owner shut the system off prior to turning off the ignition.
Some 2012 Ford Edge vehicles built on or before 11/23/2011 and equipped with a 2.0L engine may exhibit a MIL on with DTC P00C6. In addition, some vehicles may also exhibit a long crank time condition.
Some 2012-2014 Ford Edge vehicles equipped with a 2.0L GTDI (gasoline turbocharged direct injection) engine may exhibit a difficult to start, rough running, crank/no start, lack of power, loss of idle rpm or hesitation. DTCs may include P0106, P0236 or a repeat P0128. These conditions may be caused by a wiring concern in the signal return splice.
With some 2012-2013 Ford Edge vehicles built on or before 8/2/2012 and equipped with the 2.0L GTDI engine, technicians may find the MIL on with DTC P06B8.
Some 2012-2013 Ford Edge vehicles built on or before 8/2/2012 equipped with a 2.0L GTDI engine may experience an illuminated MIL, with DTC P06B8.
Some 2013 Ford Edge and MKX, and 2014 Explorer vehicles with the single information display in the center of the IPC (information panel cluster) and built 6-14-2013 through 6-28-2013, and vehicles with the dual information displays in the IPC and built 6-14-2013 through 8-23-2013, may exhibit a condition where the instrument cluster information display goes blank intermittently.
Some 2011 Ford Edge vehicles built on or before 6/26/2011 and equipped with Rain Sensitive Wipers may exhibit an un-commanded or phantom wipe on dry glass. This typically occurs on sunny days while turning into or away from sunlight.
Some 2010-2011 Ford Focus, 2010 Edge/MKX/F-150/E-Series, 2010-2011 Flex/MKT/Taurus/MKS/Fusion and MKZ vehicles with any of the following engines: 2.0L, 3.5L (excluding GTDI), 3.7L and 4.6L 2V may exhibit DTCs P2111, P2112 or the idle speed drops lower than desired and/or fluctuates. The idle speed concern can be intermittent and DTCs P2111/P2112 may or may not be present.
