Some 2014-2018 Mazda3 vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission may exhibit a squeak noise from the right front driveshaft at the transaxle. The concern is likely to occur when driving at speeds between 37-50 mph with the ATF at normal operating temperature.
This bulletin applies to 2014-2018 Mazda3 and Mazda6 vehicles equipped with GDI (gasoline direct injection). If the vehicle is driven on extremely short trips most of the time (where the engine never reaches normal operating temperature), the engine oil may become diluted with fuel, and engine oil level will increase.

Some 2010 Mazda3 2.0L and Mazda5 2.3L vehicles may experience a MIL on with DTC P2096:00 (target A/F feedback system too lean). This is caused by improper control logic of the PCM. To repair the problem, the control logic of the PCM has been changed.
This TSB applies to 2004-2010 Mazda3 and Mazda5 models. During removal or installation of the battery cover, excessive force may result in breaking the retaining clips. The battery tray tab may be broken if the tab is pulled with “strong force.”
Some 2009 Mazda6 2.5L and 2010 Mazda3 2.0L vehicles (2010 models built before Aug. 1, 2009) may experience a MIL illumination with DTC P2100:00 (Throttle Valve Actuator Circuit Open). In order to prevent engine damage, the PCM may shift into “Limp Home” mode, which results in a lack of power.
