This recall applies to 2013-2019 Ram 1500 trucks equipped with electronic power steering (EPS). Some EPS gear assemblies may have been built with a contaminated circuit card assembly that may short circuit.

Customers may not understand the EVIC message display “Blinded.” This indicates that the Parksense rear park assist sensors require cleaning. The EVIC flash will change the display to indicate “Clean Sensors.”
This bulletin applies to 2014 Ram ProMaster 1500 vehicles equipped with a 3.6L engine and built on or before Sept. 12, 2013. A MIL may be on, with DTC P0606 (internal control processor) stored in the PCM.
