Chrysler is recalling certain 2017-2019 Fiat Spider 124 vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions, built from March 2016 to January 2019.
Mazda has recalled certain 2016-2019 MX-5 Miata vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions, built between April 2015 and December 2018.
This bulletin applies to 2015-2016 Corvette models equipped with an 8L90 transmission. The customer may comment on firm garage shifts, Park to Drive or Park to Reverse, after the vehicle has been sitting for several hours with the engine off, and/or a clunk noise that occurs as the engine starts or immediately after the engine starts, along with an illuminated MIL. DTC P16F3 may be found as an active or history DTC.
This bulletin applies to 2015 GMC Yukon and Sierra vehicles. Customers may comment about firm 1-2 upshifts, firm 3-1 downshifts, engine rpm flare on tip-in and the MIL on. The technician may find DTCs P0606, P16F3 or P2818 set as current or history.
Mazda announced a recall involving certain 2016-2019 MX-5 Miata vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions.
Certain 2017 GMC Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL vehicles equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission may have a condition where a false failure action is being taken when it is not required. This condition can result in the transmission holding the last known safe gear for 6 seconds.
This bulletin was released by Kia and is applicable to all models. On some vehicles, customers may have installed non-Kia aftermarket accessories which, under certain circumstances, may cause improper operation or even damage to components.
This bulletin applies to 2012-2017 Buick Regal models. Some customers may comment that the check engine light is illuminated. In “rare” cases, they may also comment that there is no PRNDL display. When checking for DTCs, technicians may find P182E set as active or history in the transmission control module (TCM).
Some 2012 Ford Explorer vehicles equipped with a 2.0L gasoline turbocharged direct injection (GTDI) engine and built on or before 8/17/2011 may exhibit a MIL on, with DTC P1289 (CHT – cylinder head temperature) sensor circuit high and/or P1290 CHT sensor circuit low stored in PCM memory.
This bulletin applies to 2014 Chevy Impala vehicles equipped with the 6T70 automatic transmission. Some owners may complain about a coast-down “bump” felt with closed throttle during a 4-3 downshift.
