This bulletin applies to 2014 BMW 528i xDrive models. The wipers, lights and front power windows may be inoperative. The situation may start as a sporadic failure and lead to a permanent fault. One or more of the following faults may be stored:

This bulletin released by BMW addresses the issue of potential engine hydraulic lock caused by a fuel injector that is stuck in the open position, where the engine will mo longer turn over due to liquid fuel trapped in the cylinder.
This bulletin applies to 2013 BMW vehicles equipped with the N54 turbocharged engine. A slight rattle noise may be heard from the engine compartment after turning the engine off. This noise is similar to a mechanical typewriter. In addition, a slight reduction of power, similar to a turbo lag, may be experienced.
BMW offers specialty tools which allow you to check engine oil pressure. The oil pressure cap tool P/N 83 30 0 493 937 is used in conjunction with 83 30 0 496 457, pressure sensor adapter 83 30 0 496 623 and the 100-bar pressure sensor to test engine oil pressure.
