This bulletin was released by Chrysler for its range of vehicles that feature chrome clad wheels, but this can apply to any vehicle with chrome clad wheels.

Chrysler snap, crackle and pop

This bulletin applies to a range of 2005-2007 Chrysler vehicles (300, Magnum, Charger, Grand Cherokee and Commander). The concern is a ringing, snapping or popping sound coming from the propeller shaft when the transmission is shifted from Drive to Reverse or Reverse to Drive. The sound may also occur when the brakes are released after shifting into or out of Drive or Reverse.

The decklid’s open?

Owners of 2011-2013 Dodge Chargers and Chrysler 300 vehicles may complain about the decklid opening unintentionally when in Park and with the driver within proximity of the vehicle. This bulletin involves inspecting the decklid passive entry switch and replacing if needed.

Chrysler purple coolant

Chrysler released a new engine coolant for the 2013 model year vehicles and beyond, for all engine applications except for the 2013 MK equipped with the 2.3L diesel engine and the JC vehicle equipped with the 2.0L diesel engine.
