Owners a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500 series and 4500/5500 cab chassis may complain about a harsh 1-2 downshift if equipped with the AISIN AS69RC automatic transmission.
Owners of 2012-2013 Dodge Durango vehicles may complain that the A/C will not work when the engine is started using the remote start feature (if so equipped).
This bulletin applies to 2014 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 vehicles, equipped with an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, built on or before Jan. 27, 2014. The front defrost button does not respond at times. The remedy involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the HVAC control module with new software, using release 14.02 or higher.
This bulletin applies to 2014 Dodge Durango vehicles equipped with a 3.0L engine, built on or before Jan. 21, 2014, or a 3.6L engine or 5.7L engine built on or before March 10, 2014.
This bulletin applies to 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks equipped with the 5.7L engine, and either the 4-speed 42RLE, 6-speed 65RFE or 6-speed 66RFE automatic transmission. The MIL may be on, and/or the transmission light and/or the transmission cooler may be frozen.
This bulletin applies to 2013 Dodge Dart vehicles equipped with a 2.0L engine and built before Dec. 21, 2012. A MIL may be on, with any of the following DTCs set: P000B (exhaust slow response Bank 1); P050B (cold start ignition timing performance); P2173 (high airflow/vacuum leak detected, slow accumulation).
This bulletin applies to 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 trucks equipped with power black trailer tow mirrors with memory and built on or before Oct. 10, 2013 (MDH 1010XX), or on or before Nov. 2, 2013 (MDH 1102XX).
Owners of a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 equipped with an electronic transfer case and built before Jan. 6, 2012, may see a “Service 4WD” light in the cabin compartment node. The technician may find that C2201 (FDCM/DTCM internal diagnostic trouble code) is set in the DTCM. When the system detects this, it shuts down the 4WD capability for the remainder of the drive cycle.
This bulletin applies to 2011-2013 Dodge Challenger vehicles built on or before May 1, 2013, and equipped with speed control. The customer may experience no response or slow response to the cruise control switch activations. Issues will be experienced by customers who activate/press the switches in a very fast manner.
A “small number” of 2013-2014 Dodge Dart vehicles equipped with a 2.4L engine and built on or before Feb. 14, 2014, may experience a MIL on, with DTC P2251 set (O2 sensor 1/1 negative current control circuit open).
