Elgin Industries has again earned Platinum Supplier status from the General Motors Customer Care and Aftersales organization. Platinum status, GM’s top supplier level, is awarded only to manufacturers that have maintained 100% on-time delivery over the course of a year,.
This bulletin applies to 2016-2019 Chevy Corvette models equipped with a 6.2L LT1/LT4/LT5 engine. The SES lamp may be on and rich running condition DTCs P0172 and P0175 may be stored. The possible cause involves the high pressure fuel pump.
This applies to all 2000-2018 GM V6 and V8 pushrod engines equipped with roller rockers. GM notes that if you find roller rocker arm needle bearings during an oil change, inspect all rocker arms.
This bulletin applies to 2013 – 2019 Chevy Malibu vehicles equipped with a 2.5L or 2.0L engine. The same engines are available in a number of GM vehicles including Buick Envision and Regal, Cadillac CTS, ATS and CT6, Chevy Camaro, Equinox, Impala and Traverse and GMC Acadia, Canyon and Terrain.
GM now recommends any cam bearing replacement in a Gen IV V8 engine (LS series) to use coated cam bearings in all five positions.
This bulletin applies to 2006-2014 GM passenger cars and trucks equipped with OnStar Gen 7, Gen 8, Gen 9 or FCP1. The OnStar system may not power up, with no LED illumination and/or no response from the OnStar button assembly. This issue may be accompanied by no communication with the scan tool as well.
This bulletin applies to 2013 and prior GM passenger cars and trucks equipped with drum hat park brakes.
This bulletin applies to 2006-2009 Hummer H3 and 2003-2009 Hummer H2 vehicles. While some owners of these vehicles may request a fluid change for the rear axles, the service information and owner’s manual do not show a service interval for the rear axles with or without G80 locking differential.

In the event that an OnStar module had previously acquired a GPS signal with calibrated dead reckoning and is transported or towed at least 59 miles with the ignition off, the module may not re-acquire a current GPS location.
When servicing 2012 and earlier GM vehicles that feature stainless steel-clad wheel nuts, using a shallow socket wrench can easily deform or crack that stainless steel cover.
