Owners may indicate that they have experienced a driveline bump felt during acceleration at about 10 mph, the SERV 4WD message appears and the vehicle shifts from 4WD to 2WD, and/or binding of the front driveline while turning on steep grades at about 3-5 mph.

Upon diagnosis, the technician may find an active B2204 ECU configuration mismatch. This condition may be caused by the vehicle’s voltage dropping below 4.5 volts for greater than 200 msec. The WCM will lose information from the EEPROM. Lost information can include key programming.
Some 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee models built on or before April 10, 2013, and equipped with Blind Spot Cross Path Detection may experience false warnings or erratic alerts.

Owners of a 2014 Jeep Compass or Patriot equipped with a 2.0L engine, built on or after Feb. 4, 2012, or before April 14, 2013, and equipped with day time running headlamps, may note that the day time running lamps will not illuminate. No DTCs may be found.
