This bulletin applies to 2014-2019 Mazda6 vehicles. Some vehicles may exhibit the check engine light on with DTC P0456 stored in the PCM memory (EVAP system leak detected...very small leak).
Some owners of 2007-2015 Mazda CX-9 vehicles may note a check engine light on while driving. If DTCs P2A04:00 (HO2S LH circuit range/performance) and/or P2272:00 (HO2S LH signal stuck lean) are found, inspect the C-34 connector for engine oil contamination (connector on emission/injection harness).

This bulletin applies to 2014-2018 Mazda3 and Mazda6 vehicles equipped with GDI (gasoline direct injection). If the vehicle is driven on extremely short trips most of the time (where the engine never reaches normal operating temperature), the engine oil may become diluted with fuel, and engine oil level will increase.
