This bulletin applies to 2010-2012 Mazda MX-5 Miata models produced before June 22, 2012. Some vehicles may experience the MIL on with DTC P2096:00 (target A/F feedback system too lean) stored. This is caused by improper control logic. To correct the problem, the control logic has been changed.
This bulletin applies to 2009-2013 Mazda6 vehicles. Some vehicles may experience the check engine light on with DTC P1450:00 (unable to bleed fuel tank vacuum) stored in memory. The concern may be caused by the purge valve, which has since been modified to eliminate the concern.
This bulletin applies to 2007-2018 Mazda CX-9 models. Some customers may report a slight clunk/bang/buzz noise or jolt from the front of the vehicle.
Some 2012-2018 Mazda3 vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission may exhibit a squeak noise from the right front driveshaft at the transaxle. This concern is likely to occur when driving at speeds 37 – 50 mph with the ATF at normal operating temperature.
Mazda has recalled certain 2016 CX-3 vehicles built June 1, 2015, to Dec. 2, 2015, and CX-5 models built Jan. 19, 2013, to Dec. 2, 2015, and CX-9 models built Dec. 6, 2012, to July 31, 2015.
Some 2013-2016 Mazda CX-5 vehicles may exhibit a knocking noise from the rear of the vehicle.
Some 2012 Mazda5 vehicles may experience the MIL on with DTC P0451:00 (fuel tank pressure sensor range/performance problem) stored in memory. This is caused by foreign material adhering to the fuel tank pressure sensor (FTP).
Some 2012-2013 Mazda 3 vehicles equipped with a 2.3L engine may experience the MIL on with DTC P013A:00 (HO2S circuit slow response). This is caused by improper control logic of the PCM. To correct the problem, the control logic of the PCM has been changed

Some owners of 2004-2011 Mazda RX-8 vehicles may complain about a clunk, bang or jolt felt from the front of the vehicle when the vehicle first moves forward after starting the engine.
