Some Mopar Gooseneck Ball Kits installed to Dodge trucks may have retention balls that do not fully seat into the receiver plate and lock into position. When this occurs, the operator can move the shuttle to the locked position, removing tension on the pin, indicating the gooseneck ball is locked in place when it is not.
Owners of 2014-2016 Chevy Corvettes equipped with a 6.2L LT1 or LT4 engine and automatic transmission may comment about a rattle noise heard from the bell housing area. If service manual diagnosis does not isolate the noise, the culprit may be the flexplate due to distortion or cracking.
This bulletin applies to 2010-2017 Buick LaCrosse vehicles. The MIL may be on. In rare cases, customers may also comment that there is no PRNDL display. When checking for DTCs, technicians may find DTC P182E (internal mode switch indicates invalid range) set as active or history in the TCM (transmission control module).
This bulletin applies to 2013-2015 Dodge Dart vehicles equipped with Active Grille Shutters (AGS). The bulletin involves confirming that the AGS electrical harness connector is properly connected.
Some 2011-2014 Ford Mustangs equipped with a 5.0L engine and built on or before 5/1/2013 may exhibit a MIL on with any combination of DTCs P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306, P0307, P0308 and/or P0316. There will be no other DTCs or drivability symptoms present.
Some owners of 2007-2009 Cadillac SRX, 2007-2010 STS or 2008-2010 CTS equipped with all-wheel-drive (MX7) and 6L45 (MYA) or 6L50 (MYB) automatic transmission may comment that the vehicle has no forward or reverse gear at launch or has a grinding noise when forward or reverse gear is selected.
This bulletin applies to 2014 Chrysler 200 vehicles equipped with a 3.6L engine, built on or before Jan. 20, 2014. The customer may comment about a loss of oil, low oil, oil weep or oil consumption.
This bulletin applies to 2011-2012 Jeep Wranglers built before Feb. 16, 2012, and equipped with the Premium Security Alarm option. The customer may complain that the theft alarm siren turns on for no apparent reason. Updating the intrusion module (ITM) will improve the sensor stability which will make it less sensitive to movement.
This bulletin applies to 2013-2019 Chevy Malibu vehicles equipped with a 2.0L engine. The MIL may be on, accompanied by DTC P0172 (fuel trim system rich) set in the ECM. The condition may be caused by driving the vehicle in short intervals, allowing excess fuel to collect in the crankcase.
Some 2013-2014 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid vehicles built on or before 9/2/2013 may exhibit an illuminated wrench or engine lamp with DTC P26CA and/or U019F.
