Fixing Nissan power rear door problems

Some 2004-2010 Nissan Armada vehicles may experience an inoperable and/or noisy power rear lift gate. If you confirm that the power motor will not open or close the door, and/or there is a grinding and popping noise inside the rear trim panel:

Surging Altima bothers sensitive drivers

This bulletin applies to 2007-2011 Nissan Altima Sedan and Coupe models equipped with the QR25 engine and CVT transmission. Very slight vehicle hesitation and/or surge may be present at speeds between 10 and 45 mph, under light acceleration with engine rpm between 1,200 and 2,000 (and when the transmission torque converter clutch is engaged (lock mode).

Nissan crank sprocket caution

This TSB serves as a caution when servicing the engine oil pump sprocket on the 2007-2010 Nissan Versa equipped with the MR18DE engine.

Clearing up a foggy Nissan lens

This TSB applies to all 2001-2009 Nissan models. If a customer complains about water/moisture inside the exterior lamps, the issue may or may not be a problem.

Nissan cold engine idle fluctuation

This TSB applies to 2010-2011 Nissan Altima sedan and coupe models, and involves idle speed fluctuations when the engine is cold (has not reached normal operating temperature). Once operating temperature has been reached, idle speed is normal and stable.

Noisy Nissan ABS

All Nissan vehicles equipped with ABS or ABS/VDC may exhibit a clicking, knocking, clunking, buzzing or thumping noise from the engine compartment area. If this noise occurs only once per ignition cycle (ignition ON/OFF) and does not occur again until the ignition is cycled; and if the noise happens only briefly for a few seconds on acceleration (between 5 and 30 MPH), this condition is normal and occurs during the ABS self-check.

What's the buzz? Diagnosing Nissan noise

This bulletin applies to 2004-2008 Maxima (A34), 2004-2006 Altima (L31 with VQ35 engine) and 2004-2009 Quest (V42).

Reviving a dead Nissan intelligent key

This applies to all Nissan vehicles equipped with their “intelligent key.” If the intelligent key is not functioning, check the outside of the key for physical damage.

Nissan cold start control

This TSB applies to the 2009-2010 Nissan Cube. If the MIL is on and DTC P1421 is stored in the ECM, this indicates a problem with cold start control, and the ECM requires reprogramming.

Clunck, squeak or pop -- Quieting Nissan suspension noise

A noise (clunking, squeaking, popping) may be heard when turning the steering wheel left or right, when driving over speed bumps, when driving on rough roads, or when accelerating or decelerating.
