Nissan iPod/iPhone issues

This TSB applies to all Nissan vehicles equipped with a USB interface. If an iPod / iPhone-related concern is verified on a vehicle while using the USB interface, perform the following steps for initial diagnosis.

This TSB applies to 2004-2007 Nissan Titan and Armada vehicles, built before Feb. 22, 2007, that exhibit low power with wide open throttle

Nissan pointy helper

Nissan recommends the use of specialty tool J-46532 (brake and clutch pedal height measurement tool) for checking and adjusting pedal height for all Nissan models.

Nissan Nav nixed

The navigation system in some 2010-2013 Nissan vehicles will not work after the SD map card is installed.

Nissan cold start DTCs

This TSB applies to 2008-2010 Nissan Altima vehicles equipped with the QR25DE 4-cylinder engine. For a 2008-2009 Altima, DTC P1421 (cold start control) may be stored in the ECM. For a 2010 Altima, DTC P050E (cold start control) may be stored.

Lower power Maxima

This TSB applies to 2007-2008 Nissan Maxima (A34) and 2009-2012 Maxima (A35) vehicles. If you confirm that the vehicle has low power at 0 – 40 mph, with normal power above 40 mph, and no DTCs are stored, the most likely cause is an issue with the ABS/VDC wheel speed sensors/signals (sensor, wiring or debris on sensor/rotor).

Nissan power steering hose change

This TSB applies to 2004-2012 Nissan Armada and Titan vehicles. If the high pressure hose needs to be replaced for any reason, the hose now comes without the pressure sensor. When replacing the hose, re-use the existing pressure sensor. Replace the pressure sensor only if there is a pressure sensor-related issue.

Nissan variable valve timing

This TSB applies to all 1996-2009 Nissans with VVT (engines VQ35, QR25, QG18, GA16, VQ40, VK56, MR18 and MR20).

If the Acura ping is the thing

This TSB applies to 2009 Acura TSX, from VIN JH4CU2….AC000001 through JH4CU2…AC009053. The engine pings during moderate to heavy acceleration.

Leaky TPMS?

Nissan notes that when repairing an air leak at a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor seal, a seal is now available separately.
