Some 2011-2014 Ford Mustangs equipped with a 5.0L engine and built on or before 5/1/2013 may exhibit a MIL on, accompanied by any combination of DTCs P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306, P0307, P0308 and/or P0316. No drivability symptoms may be present.
This bulletin applies to 2014 Dodge Challenger, Charger and Chrysler 300 vehicles equipped with a 5.7L engine and built on or before Sept.4, 2013. A MIL may be on, with DTC P1621 (O2 sensor reference voltage circuit low) or P1622 (O2 sensor reference voltage circuit high).
Some 2012-2013 Ford Edge vehicles built on or before 8/2/2012 equipped with a 2.0L GTDI engine may experience an illuminated MIL, with DTC P06B8.
Honda ECM/PCM connectors are now embossed with geometric shape symbols to easily tell them apart. Connector A (white) has a square; connector B (gray) has a triangle; and connector C (green) has a circle.
This bulletin applies to 2004-2013 Acura TL vehicles. If you’ve just cleaned the throttle body but now have an MIL on with DTC P2279 (intake air system leak), MIL on with P0507 (idle control system rpm higher than expected) and/or a fluctuating idle, it’s likely that the throttle plate is now in a different position from the one that the ECM/PCM had learned.
Some 2012 Ford Fusion vehicles may exhibit a MIL on, with DTC P0456 stored in the PCM.
Some 2012-2013 Ford F-150 vehicles equipped with the 5.0L engine and built on or before 12-4-2012 may exhibit a buck/jerk under light throttle during parking lot maneuvers for the first 60 seconds after startup with engine coolant temperature at approximately 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
This bulletin applies to 2012-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Durango models. A “small number” of customers may experience a surge, shudder or pulsation type sensation when driving on a smooth road at highway speeds of 40 to 80 mph. Some customers may describe the sensation as similar to a fish biting on a lure.
A “small number” of owners of 2013 Dodge Dart vehicles may experience a MIL on. The technician may find DTC P2251 (O2 sensor 1/1 negative current control circuit open).
Some 2011-2013 Mazda6 models equipped with the 2.5L engine with VINs lower than 1YVHZ****D5M07793, produced before June 18, 2012, may experience a MIL on with DTC P0600:00 (serial communication link) stored in memory. As a result, the customer may also notice a loss of engine power while driving due to engine fail-safe mode initiation.
