This bulletin applies to 2003-2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser vehicles. The purpose of this bulletin is to provide information regarding automatic transmission manual shift lever and/or Park Neutral position switch installation.
This bulletin applies to 2015 Jeep Renegade vehicles built on or before Sept. 30, 2015, and equipped with a 9-speed 948TE transmission. Some customers may experience a condition where the vehicle will not shift out of Park while the engine is running at idle and the brake pedal is applied.
Some 2012-2013 Ford Expedition vehicles equipped with a 6R80 transmission and built on or before April 8, 2013, may exhibit a transmission engagement in 5th gear when starting.
This bulletin applies to 2012 Dodge RAM 1500, 2500 and 3500 cab chassis trucks, equipped with a 4-speed 42RLE or 6-speed 65RFE or 6-speed 66RFE automatic transmission, built before Nov. 15, 2011. The MIL may illuminate, with DTC P0441 stored (EVAP purge system performance). The transmission light and/or transmission cooler freeze-up may be involved as well.
Some 2013 Ford Explorer vehicles equipped with a 6F50 or 6F55 transmission and built on or before 9/22/2012 may exhibit a concern of an intermittent no upshift or a perceived stuck in first gear with no DTCs stored in the PCM.
Some 2011-2013 Lincoln Navigator vehicles may exhibit a delayed forward or reverse transmission engagement condition when cold.
This bulletin applies to 2014 Hyundai Sante Fe vehicles equipped with the 3.3L engine. The new SKYACTIV-DRIVE FW6A-EL automatic transmission uses ATF type FZ. Only use ATF-FZ to fill or top off the fluid level.
Owners of a 2012-2014 Chevy Cruze equipped with a 1.4L engine and 6T40 automatic transmission and built before Aug. 1, 2013, may complain about a bump feeling or surge or an engine vibration while stopped at idle with the transmission in drive and their foot on the brake pedal.
Some 2012 Ford Explorer vehicles equipped with a 2.0L gasoline turbocharged direct injection (GTDI) engine and built on or before 8/17/2011 may exhibit a MIL on, with DTC P1289 (CHT – cylinder head temperature) sensor circuit high and/or P1290 CHT sensor circuit low stored in PCM memory.
Owners of a 2008-2013 GMC Savana equipped with a 4L60E, 4L65E or 4L70E transmission may comment that the transmission makes a squawk or grunt type noise when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear.
