This bulletin applies to 2011 Mercedes-Benz C300 vehicles. The customer may complain about a humming, droning, shuddering, jolting or slip.
This bulletin applies to 2012-2014 Chevy Tahoe vehicles that exhibit unwanted grade braking, low power and/or a busy-shifting transmission. These issues may be caused by the BPP (brake pedal position) sensor not being learned correctly in the ECM.
This bulletin applies to 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks equipped with a 3.7L engine and 4-speed 42RLE or 6-speed 65RFE or 6-speed 66RFE automatic transmission. A MIL-on for DTC P0441 (EVAP purge system performance) may be found.
When servicing the 6T30/40/45/50 automatic transmission in a 2012 Chevy Orlando, a technician may note that the ATF has a very dark appearance, almost as if the fluid has been overheated or the clutches inside the transmission are distressed.
Some 2012-2013 Lincoln Navigators quipped with the 6R80 transmission, and built on or before 4/8/2013 may exhibit a transmission engagement in 5th gear when starting. The “wrench” indicator and/or seat belt minder may be illuminated, the speedometer may read zero and the odometer may display dashes while driving.
Some owners of 2011-2014 Chevy Silverado 2500/3500 trucks equipped with the Allison A1000 automatic transmission may experience a bump feeling and/or a clunk noise when shifting from drive to reverse. Harsh shifting into reverse may be involved as well.
This bulletin applies to 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks equipped with the 5.7L engine, and either the 4-speed 42RLE, 6-speed 65RFE or 6-speed 66RFE automatic transmission. The MIL may be on, and/or the transmission light and/or the transmission cooler may be frozen.
This bulletin applies to 2008 Cadillac CTS vehicles equipped with the 60L50 automatic transmission, where the issue involves no forward or reverse, an no input or output speed signal after a valve body replacement.
This bulletin applies to 2011 Audi A8 vehicles, where the technician finds DTCs P1703 (emergency operation gearbox, reset control unit in diagnosis 02 – gearbox) or U111 (restricted function because of missing message in diagnosis address 81 – gear lever) after reading TCM fault memory.
This bulletin applies to 2010-2012 Buick LaCrosse and 2008-2012 Enclave models. The customer may comment that the DIC (driver information center) displays a “Transmission Hot – Idle Engine” message. The technician may find DTC P0218 or P0634 stored.
