Airbag Module Testing

Volkswagen notes that if an airbag module is replaced or if testing is planned, the module must be properly mounted or the case grounded if the connector is installed.

VW Test Not Complete?

This bulletin applies to 2010 Volkswagen Passat vehicles equipped with the ESP braking system.  In some cases, the ESP function test may not end on its own, creating a 01486 fault code in the ABS.

Touareg No Crank

This TSB applies to 2010 Volkswagen Touareg models with a no-crank condition. When the vehicle is unlocked by using the key in the driver door handle and 15 seconds elapse without the ignition key being inserted into the ignition switch, the alarm will go off and the start signal will become prohibited.

Jetta Combi-Valve Test

For concerns with the secondary air injection system on 2009 and later Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagens equipped with the 2.5L engine, make sure that the combi-valve has been tested thoroughly. The combi-valve can be tested using the output diagnosis in address 01 0 engine electronics (ECM).
